This manuscript contains i) ink and pencil short-score sketch headed 'Evening on the river' ii) 4 pages of pencil draft full score entitled 'Serenade sur l'eau/Summer evening on the river' and iii) a draft full score in ink and pencil with the eventual title. These drafts represent an earlier version of the work than that published (see RT.1986, 179).
