This manuscript contains i) various sketches within a bifolium wrapper bearing the title 'Woodlands, meadows & moors.|Dance|1914|North Country Sketches ii) a draft score entitled 'Autumn. The wind sounds in the Forest' iii) a draft score entitled 'Winter Landscape 1913' iv) a draft score entitled 'Slow Dance' v) a draft score for part of the fourth movement and vi) a further draft of the first movement, entitled 'The wind sounds in the forest' and dated 1913.

The manuscript contains dynamic markings added in blue pencil. While these resemble Thomas Beecham's usual additions, they have not been definitely identified as Beecham's by any previous cataloguer.
