The identity of this suite and the preceding Petite Suite d'Orchestre (DCW A 6) have been the source of some confusion due to the emergence of new material between the publication of RT and RT.1986. Because the three works that form part of this suite were initially linked together in the autograph score, and are designated as a work by Threlfall, the suite is here denoted as DCW Coll. 1. Because each constituent work has its own history, and properly relates to other works, each is fully discussed in an individual catalogue record (see also RT.1986, 73-4).
