This manuscript contains: i) ink fair copy of 'Nach neuen Meeren', with incomplete fair copy of 'Der Wanderer' on the verso, ii) 'Der Wanderer und sein Schatten', ink fair copy, iii) another ink fair copy of 'Der Wanderer und sein Schatten', with voice part now in the bass clef. No autograph score of 'Der Einsame' is extant.

Delius originally negotiated with Leuckart in 1913, and the songs may have been engraved by that publisher, but were transferred to Universal in 1921 (see RT.1986, 60).
